My Spiritual Journey

A journey on the pathless path and a mission to serve others.

Early Awakening

My spiritual journey began around the age of 10, perhaps earlier. Whilst other kids would run around and play games in the playground, I was enraptured in a vigorous internal debate about god, and how god can't just be a man up in the sky as depicted by the Christian culture that was around me at school, and the Islamic alternative I had known from my family's culture.

Childhood Experiences

I recall, most likely at the age of 6 or 7 doing complex kundalini-based meditations that I would read about 20 years later in books, to energise myself before the entrance exam into primary school. I also recall many lucid dreams where I would fly around my home during sleep. In my early teens, I recorded 100s of dreams into my dream journal, many of which were multiple A4 pages long, and others which appeared to come true many months later.

Self-Directed Learning

My parents, who were not religious nor spiritual, would joke that I came from another planet (they were probably right!) - my desire for esoteric knowledge as a teenager with limited information and access to the internet in those days meant I spent a lot of time reading books about the paranormal and spiritual matters in the local library, whenever my mum would take me.

Online Communities & Remote Viewing

As the internet progressed in my teens I participated in online spiritual forums, such as the empath community. I made my own version once Facebook was launched, which got to more than 10,000 members, and participated in Remote Viewing groups online, as well as learned the CIA's method for Remote Viewing, which can still be found on their website in documents such as this one.

An Extensive & Rare Spiritual Library

I would spend my time as a child reading every book I could get hold of on spirituality, and my library of books today spans the widest corners of the world through time and geography, including many out of print original books, be it ancient yoga scriptures or undertakings of the theosophical society.

Formal Training Begins

I also developed my own meditation and energy healing practice, to reach deeper and deeper states of inner being. Just before turning 20, I moved to London for university, where I immediately started training with physical teachers, such as Emma Toynbee and others at the College of Psychic Studies.

Yoga

In 2023 I completed my Learn to Lead Kirtan, 200hr Bhakti Yoga training with Nikki Slade. Previously, I had been teaching Raja yoga at a local yoga centre, which came naturally to me as a child and based on extensive reading of Śāstras, but the path of Bhakti taught me to go from my head to my heart.

Having integrated the path of Raja, Bhakti and Jnana Yoga, I decided to go to India to do my 200hr in Kundalini Yoga, picking up tantra yoga sadhana and deepening my knowledge of the path to moksha. There I learned many Kundalini Kriyas in the Himalayan tradition of Kundalini Yoga. I also spent time in multiple ashrams following the daily rituals, austerities and deepning my practice.

More recently, I am completing my 300hr Hatha-Vinyasa course in Krama Yoga with Michael Wong at Triyoga London, a course that includes many top teachers including Radhika Das for the mantra side. Overall, this course deepened my knowledge of anatomy, assists and adjusts and much more.

What I aim to bring the yoga community and sadhakas is a return to the spiritual practice of yoga. What is taught today is "yoga asana", and what I aim to share is Raja yoga sadhana and kundalini yoga tantra. These practices reflect my own daily sadhana and the tools and techniques based on subtle energies that can help people unlock their siddhis, reach higher vibrations and deepen their journey to the divine self.

Meditation at Sacred Sites

I have been fortunate enough, and made the effort to visit many of the world's most spiritual sites, to meditate and gain the wisdom of the lands. These include meditating, and chanting with Matias De Stefano in the King's Chamber of the Great Pyramid of Giza, meditating in the Church of the Holy Sepulchre and by the Foundation Stone in the Al Aksa Mosque in Jerusalem, meditating with the Moai Head Statues in Easter Island, touching the Stone Henge in Salisbury and visiting the Pagan caves of Glastonbury, meditating in the Megalithic Temples of Malta and learning indigenous medicine music in Costa Rica. All these experiences give me a global, ethnogeographic approach to spirituality, bringing in learnings from many ancient cultures and lands.

Teaching & Sharing

Many of the courses I have done are on the right of this page. From 2019-2020 I taught meditation, soul development and energy healing techniques at The Lodge Space which was a yoga community centre in Canada Water, London, as well as holding regular classes in my flat and on the locals.org app, in a group I created with nearly 200 participants.

As my work became more recognised, I was invited to hold masterclasses at The Lodge Space and Bingham House in Richmond.

In addition, I started holding larger events, such as the sold out event of 70 people entitled Unlock Your Energy at St Luke's Church, Islington in September 2024, as well as running an ongoing meditation group organised via whatsapp, and a Youtube Channel of over 20,000 subscribers.

Integration & Purpose

Originally, what I taught was largely knowledge that I already knew, that came naturally to me as a child, such as moving prana through my body at will. Over time, I decided to formalise this training by completing many courses in yoga, breathwork, sound healing, energy healing, psychic development and more.

At the heart of my journey is a deep sense of mission and purpose I have always felt, and a deep empathy for everyone in the world who is suffering, and the aim to one day make a difference. It is with that energy that I continue my steps towards spiritual progress and professional impact.
